A cart on site is the thing people underestimate

- Is a cart included, or is it an extra you will discover at checkout?
- How many real bedrooms, not the headline sleeps number — a foursome plus partners is six or eight people who all want a bed
- Is the pool heated? The golf season here runs well past the swimming season
- How far to the courses you have actually booked, not to "golf" generally
- Somewhere to clean and store clubs that is not the kitchen
When to come
Spring and autumn are the golf seasons here and the rates reflect it — March through May and September through early November book earliest. Mid-summer is hotter and cheaper, and the beach becomes the main event rather than the courses. Winter is genuinely playable and very quiet.
